The TOG of a sleeping bag is a measure of the thermal insulation capacity of the bag. It is a commonly used measurement in Europe and refers to the amount of heat a sleeping bag can retain.
The TOG value is determined by measuring the amount of heat that passes through the sleeping bag when exposed to a specific temperature for a given period of time. The higher the TOG value, the warmer the sleeping bag.
