BIBS is a brand recognized for its pacifiers designed for babies, which imitate the shape and size of the mother's nipple, promoting a natural and comfortable sucking experience.
Color is the original BIBS soother and has been on the market for over 40 years. It features the distinctive round BIBS shield with three ventilation holes and a grip ring engraved with the BIBS logo. The shield's design is carefully thought out to move away from the sensitive and delicate skin around the baby's mouth, preventing moisture build-up. The shield is the same size regardless of the teat size.
Teat:
The round teat resembles the mother's soft nipple in shape and size, promoting a similar tongue placement and sucking technique similar to breastfeeding. Its round shape allows the sides of the tongue to rise and fit around the teat. In addition, the teat is equipped with a valve that releases air when the baby sucks on it. This vent system allows air inside the teat to be expelled through the valve, which will naturally flatten the teat to fit the baby's oral cavity. The valve is also the reason why water can become trapped in the teat after cleaning and sterilization. In that case, simply squeeze the teat to remove excess water.
SHIELD :
The lightweight, round shield is positioned away from the sensitive skin around baby's mouth, ensuring minimal contact with baby's nose and mouth. This reduces the chance of moisture build-up from saliva, which could lead to irritation and chafing.
The shield is the same size regardless of the nipple size.
The shield is made of 100% safe and food grade PP.
SIZE :
Available in sizes 1, 2 and 3 (natural rubber latex).
It is important to note that our different sizes are just a guide for you to follow. Our experience tells us that the following sizes are the most common and therefore our general recommendations:
- Size 1: 0+ months
- Size 2: 6+ months
- Size 3: 18+ months
QUALITY :
Complies with European Standard EN 1400+A2.
The manufacturer recommends changing the pacifier every 6 weeks.
