Breast milk alcohol test.
Now you can test your milk to see if it still has alcohol left after ingestion and you can safely give the milk to your baby. It is a plastic strip with a test pad on the end.
Two minutes after saturation with breast milk, the tip will change color if the amount of concentrated alcohol is greater than 20 mg/dl or 0.02%.
If there is no color change then the presence of alcohol is null or insignificant.
The effectiveness of the test is 98%.
The test detects an alcohol concentration in breast milk of 0.02% (20 mg/dL).
Remember that it is not recommended to breastfeed after drinking alcohol, as this can be harmful to the baby.
