The questionnaire from Mamás Mateas to Vale Urzúa
Motherhood has made me a much calmer person. Today, above all, I prioritize peace for myself, my baby, and my family.
The first thing I did when I had my baby in my arms was cry with emotion. I thought she looked just like my niece Moa and then I counted her fingers.
When we were discharged from the clinic I felt scared, I thought “what do I do now?” I felt like I was being thrown off a cliff.
A house with a newborn is: a source of unlimited love.
As a mother, I am great at organizing everything. I am very organized with her, even though sometimes it is difficult for me.
As a mother, I am terrible at: getting her to sleep in her crib, I can't get her to sleep without my arms.
Something I wish someone had told me (before becoming a mother) about newborns: that despite sometimes seeing everything black, I should enjoy, remember and treasure, because everything passes, even the worst and most painful moments.
My favorite motherhood hack is: just squirt on her eyes and she falls asleep in 1 minute.
The moment we enjoy most with Maia is when she wakes up in the morning and we cuddle for a while in bed.
The task I avoid the most when caring for Maia is: sleeping at night!
Do you follow routine or flow in your day to day life?: absolutely flow, I follow her.
What I said I would never do as a mom and now I do: I never said never… so so far, nothing.
Best motherhood advice I've ever been given: Listen to only yourself and your daughter, no one else.
